Joined Impro Melbourne: Started classes late 2014, joined as rookie start of 2016.
Rhys is a writer, musician and theatremaker. He completed a Bachelor of Performing Arts (Hons) at Monash and an Advanced Certificate of Professional Screenwriting at RMIT. As a founding member of theatre group Welcome Stranger he was involved in a number of shows including the award winning ‘The End of Civil Twilight’ (2002) and co-writing/directing ‘Villanus’ (Brisbane Festival 2006). He is also a songwriter, playing solo and in the duo Baby Drivers.

My little secret: I try to look over all the audience members’ faces as the show begins, and remind myself that everything I need for the scene is already there. Then I meditate and rise three feet above the ground as I reach enlightenment.
