"And then what happened?"
A solid understanding of story is crucial for impro success. This is why Narrative is an important and rewarding class in our Foundation Series.
When we improvise, we don't have a script to fall back on, so being able to work together to tell the same story is crucial.
Improvised stories, whether short-form or long-form, are built with the skills that we look at in this course, including:
- Recognising all offers
- Advancing and extending ideas
- Making strong choices
- Starting scenes fearlessly
- Developing story structures
Prerequisites: Impro Melbourne's Spontaneity course.
