Formats & Styles

What students say:

Formats & Styles prepares you for the stage through an exciting and in-depth rehearsal process. Each course focuses on a particular format or style of improvisation, aimed at expanding your range and repertoire.

From games based shows, to narrative or genre these classes challenge students to use all their skills while rehearsing a particular format structure or performance style. The class concludes with a performance for other students and family and friends at Impro Melbourne’s end-of-term celebration. After the performance, the class has a post-show discussion and notes session.
