Beatrix Brunscko

After obtaining a master’s degree in psychology at university she started immediately to work as an actress. 1989 she became Ensemble Member of Theater im Bahnhof - TiB. Until today she is working there as an actress, director and improvisor. She was Artistic Director of TiB-Improv until she moved to Hamburg in 2022.

From 2002 until 2022 she was a drama teacher at the University for Music and performing Arts in Graz. In 2022 she became a Professor for Drama and Improvisation at Theaterakademie - University for Music and Theatre Hamburg where she currently lives. She performs as a guest Player with Hidden Shakespeare, Steife Brise in Hamburg and with Die Gorillas. The Improv Embassy and Theatre Lux in Berlin.

She teaches Improv all over Austria, Germany, Switzerland and Europe as well as in Canada, Australia and the US. She has been a guest performer in numerous Improv Festivals all over the globe.

She appears as an actress in Austrian movie and TV Productions and received the Best Actress Award at the Europe Film Festival U.K. 2023.
