Come and let the language loose!
This workshop focuses on finding the joy in words and uses Spoken Word poetry to help free our minds and our tongues. The Beat Cafe format then uses these improvised spoken word poems to inspire characters, scenes and stories.
A great chance to stretch some different Impro muscles while also flexing some that are already defined.
The performances will take place on a Friday night at 9pm after the student Jam and performance from 'Sofa sessions' or 'Once more with feeling'.
Prerequisites: Impro Melbourne's Spontaneity, Narrative Technique, Character, Scene Work courses, or similar training at the discretion of the Artistic Director or course instructor.
