I'm Alive - Now what

with Katherine Weaver

In this course, we will learn how to potray the big changes in characters lives.

I'm Alive -  now what!

Life is full of turning points — your first job, falling in love, getting married, divorce, retirement, starting over and everything in between.

In this improvised show, we’ll explore the big (and sometimes unexpected) moments that change the course of our lives. Inspired by real experiences, stories and suggestions from the audience, watch as ordinary moments become extraordinary scenes, characters collide, relationships evolve and new chapters unfold — all made up on the spot.

Because you never quite know what life is going to throw at you next.

In this workshop students will learn to

- play scenes with commitment and depth

- honor the material whilst maintaining the shape of the show.

- how to explore a topic in the rehearsal room and in performance to enthrall and entice your audience into relating, questioning, and perhaps even seeing parts of themselves.

This course has 4 workshops from 7 pm - 9:30 pm and 3 performances.
The workshops will take place in the yellow room and the performances in the Theatre as the last act of a student night at 9pm.
Notes will be done after the show at 10pm.
