Storyteller's Club (a group of writers get together for their monthly sharing session.

In this workshop, we’ll explore

  • How to tell a spoken word story with a strong narrative. 
  • How to scene paint enviroment and more..
  • How to go from spoken stories into scenes
  • How to inspire your partners imagination 

The workshop will build towards a performance of Story tellers club

Prerequisites: Impro Melbourne’s completion of our core courses (SpontaneityNarrative TechniqueCharacter Scene Work ), or equivalent impro experience as determined by the Artistic Director.

Teacher

Brenna is a supportive and enthusiastic teacher, always sharing her passion for art form with students. She has been teaching drama and improvisation since 2012, in Australia and overseas. Brenna has taught adults and children of all ages, and for companies including Brave Studios, The Decent People, New Zealand Improv Festival, and Monash University, just to name a few. Brenna teaches workshops on improvised Shakespeare, musicals, scene work and stage craft, but particularly loves introducing newcomers to improvisation.
