This workshop will focus on using emotion as the heart of our songs and allowing characters to be changed by what we discover.

It's about creating powerful songs and channeling these emotions that are broken-hearted, joyful, fierce, soft, messy, and most of all heartfelt. The course has 5 weeks of training/rehersal with the last 3 weeks been a caberet of 'Songs from the Soul.

Performance courses are devised to develop your performance skills through on-stage performing experience and personalised feedback about your work. This eight-week course will strengthen your performance skills and awareness of your work with through actual performance time.

Each performance is followed by constructive, specific, personalised feedback 'notes' from your teacher. It’s a perfect combination of experience, observation, information, reflection and revision, which are all essential stages in your development as an improvised singer.

Attendance at the rehearsal nights are manditory for the performances.
