Extreme Character/ Real Character

with Tim Redmond
How far can we take a character till it breaks? How can we be bold without just being loud or feeling silly?
Welcome to Extreme Character/Real Character, an intensive workshop in creating big, believable characters.
Through the use of breath, gesture, and posture, we'll explore techniques to take characterization to the edge of absurdity and, importantly, bring them back to a grounded, recognizable place.

Prerequisites: Impro Melbourne’s Spontaneity Narrative, Character and Scenework or equivalent impro experience as determined by the Artistic Director.

Questions? Contact our workshop co-ordinator Katherine.

Age requirement: 18 and over. Please see our Impro in Schools programs for anyone under 18.
