Our beginner improvised singing workshop, led by experienced instructor Brenna, is designed for people who haven't tried songprov before and have all ranges of singing ability. 

In this workshop, you'll learn the basics of musical improvisation and how to use your voice to create songs on the fly. Brenna will guide you through fun and easy exercises that will help you build confidence and help you to feel comfortable expressing yourself through song.

This workshop will give you the support and guidance that you need to explore your creativity and build your confidence.

No singing experience is necessary.

Prerequisites: Impro Melbourne's Spontaneity, or similar training at the discretion of the Artistic Director or course instructor.

Teacher

Brenna is a supportive and enthusiastic teacher, always sharing her passion for art form with students. She has been teaching drama and improvisation since 2012, in Australia and overseas. Brenna has taught adults and children of all ages, and for companies including Brave Studios, The Decent People, New Zealand Improv Festival, and Monash University, just to name a few. Brenna teaches workshops on improvised Shakespeare, musicals, scene work and stage craft, but particularly loves introducing newcomers to improvisation.
