"Katherine is so great at seeing what we each need individually, and giving feedback in a positive way. She builds our confidence and makes a really safe environment to step (way) out of our comfort zones" - Rechel
Continue your playful exploration of improvisation as we work on the basics of creating stories. Building on the foundational skills you acquired in Spontaneity, Narrative Technique teaches you an essential set of skills. In improvisation, these are the fundamental elements that make scenes and games work and include techniques such as recognising all offers, supporting and building on ideas, making strong choices, bravely initiating scenes and quieting the internal critic by getting out of your own way.
Prerequisites: Impro Melbourne’s Spontaneity course or equivalent impro experience as determined by the Artistic Director.
