This workshop is focused on building confidence and fluency in improvising with Shakespearean language. Participants will learn the fundamentals of how Shakespeare’s language works, then spend plenty of time putting those tools into practice through guided exercises and play. Improvising Shakespeare draws on many skills, but this workshop zooms in on language alone, offering a supportive space to experiment, make mistakes, and develop muscle memory. Ideal for anyone wanting hands-on practice and a deeper, more embodied understanding of Shakespeare’s words.

 

Prerequisites: Completion of our core courses (Spontaneity, Narrative Technique,  ), or equivalent impro experience as determined by the Artistic Director.
