Join experienced musical improviser Brenna Dixon in this workshop for musical improvisation and learn the fundamental skills necessary to create songs on the spot. Brenna will guide you through exercises that will boost your confidence, develop your musical ear, and help you find your unique voice as an improviser. You'll explore a range of song structures and styles, experiment with melody and harmony, and learn techniques for creating lyrics on the fly. These skills can be applied to anything from jamming out songs in your kitchen to improvising full-length musicals on the spot. Whether you're a seasoned performer looking to hone your musical improvisational skills or a beginner just starting out, this workshop will provide you with the tools you need to unleash your creativity and express yourself through music.
