Spontaneity Melbourne

with Amy Moule

"After lockdown last year I have felt considerably more self conscious/less confident in myself to access the child-like playfulness that I used to be able to tap into with ease not too long ago. These improv classes feel like a great gateway towards that in a safe space...it’s awesome and nourishing for me. - Darren IM student

Everyone can enjoy the laughter and play of improvisation!

Our Spontaneity course covers the basics of improvisation. You’ll work on unleashing your creativity and unlocking your spontaneity through impro games and exercises based on play, collaboration and support. This course is designed to encourage fearlessness, freedom, and fun!

We’ll explore core principles of improvisation, including:

  • Being present in the moment
  • Accepting ideas and saying 'yes'
  • Idea generation
  • Supportive play
  • Silencing the internal critic
  • Communication skills

Spontaneity is the first course of the Impro Melbourne workshop program and requires no prior improvisation or performance experience.
