It has come to our attention that a most curious affair is about to unfold…
An evening of romance, scandal, questionable decisions, and exceedingly good manners awaits, as the world of Miss Jane Austen is brought to life entirely without a script.
Yes, dear Reader. Not a single word of the story has been decided in advance.
Our cast shall take to the stage armed with nothing but their wits, their Regency attire, and whatever suggestions you, the audience, are bold enough to provide. From your prompts shall emerge spirited heroines, hopelessly eligible gentlemen, meddlesome relations, shocking revelations, and perhaps even a proposal or two.
Will there be a secret engagement?
A scandalous elopement?
A most unsuitable match?
Each performance is created in the moment, meaning that every romance, rivalry, and misunderstanding will occur once and once only. What happens upon the stage tonight shall never be repeated.
Whether you are a devoted admirer of Miss Austen or simply someone with a fondness for romance, mischief, and a scandalous turn of events, you are most cordially invited to join us.

Step into Jane Austen's world — through the eyes of her family.
Caroline Jane Knight is Jane Austen's fifth great-niece and the last of Jane's nieces to grow up at Chawton House, the ancestral estate in Hampshire where Jane lived, wrote, and published her most beloved novels. Caroline will speak on stage after the performance to share stories of her extraordinary childhood in Jane's world.
Caroline will also share Jane’s lifelong love of theatre, her childhood spent performing plays in the family barn, and why the woman behind those perfectly observed drawing room comedies was, at heart, a born performer.
All profits from the afternoon will go to the Jane Austen Literacy Foundation, the global volunteer charity founded by Caroline in 2014, which supports literacy programs in developing communities around the world.
