Smells Like A Song

Impro Melbourne is back at the Courthouse Hotel in North Melbourne with everyone's favourite musical Smells Like A Song.

Audiences have all the power, deciding when the songs happen and what they should be about by throwing a rose onto the stage with cries of “Smells Like A Song!”

Impro Melbourne’s company of extremely experienced players, with jaw-dropping obedience, perform an entirely improvised musical complete with tantalising narrative and big musical numbers. Anything goes: a ballad, blues, rock opera, solo, duet or Broadway chorus. Our musician decides the style but the players must respond to the audience’s demands. And what performer doesn’t love a stage strewn with roses? Grab a rose, take a seat and ready your throwing arm as a full-blown musical blossoms before you! Directed by Impro Melbourne’s Tim Redmond and starring our wonderful cast of talented Impro Melbourne performers, this is “a show that you could see over and over again.” - Theatre Press

"...A great night's entertainment for groups and friends. You take your own party and become part of a bigger one." - WeekendNotes

“The undeniably talented performers made it all work and delivered lots of laughable moments.” - Theatre Press
