Impro Melbourne, “Melbourne’s most talented actors and comedians” (The Age) are pushing theatrical improvisation to new limits with our vaudeville variety show: The Impro Cave!

Each night will showcase different acts. Audiences may encounter crowd favourites Tilly and Flora returning to share the latest gossip and scandal in the town of Cottesloe with the Jane Austen-inspired In the Parlor. Be enthralled with our improvisation of an entire play in the style of Beckett, Hemingway, Chekhov or Pinter with The First Four, or embark on a feminine swashbuckling adventure with Pirates!.

Whatever happens, you won’t be disappointed with the wild variety theatre created by our “dynamic crew” (Theatrepress).

This season is curated by Impro Melbourne’s Co-artistic Directors, Katherine Weaver and Patti Stiles. The cast features the Impro Melbourne Ensemble and weekly special guests.
