Grand Theft Impro returns! Saturday Night Impro at The Courthouse Hotel.

After a sell-out season at MICF, Melbourne’s award-winning veterans of improvisation deliver high-stakes and fast-paced comedy!

Impro Melbourne is proud to join with the Courthouse Hotel to launch Saturday Night Impro in North Melbourne. To kick things off we are delighted to announce an encore season of our Melbourne International Comedy Festival SELL OUT show Grand Theft Impro! 

The Show

Grand Theft Impro is a dynamic 50 minutes of stories, scenes, songs and comedic chaos. 10 titles are gleaned from the audience at the start of the show and then the genius of the improvisors explodes as they bring all of these titles to life. These improvisors are clever, armed with razor sharp wits and ready for action. Grand Theft Impro’s seasoned players must pull off an impro heist using comedic chemistry, skilled song, and sharp storytelling to maintain their title as Melbourne’s improvisation masters.

Join us at North Melbourne’s Courthouse Hotel on Saturday nights! The show features Impro Melbourne’s Ensemble as well as very special guests – no two journeys are alike, with new players and new scenes every show. Grand Theft Impro has played to rave reviews and we are delighted to offer this exciting impro show to a new audience. Combining a great pub and bistro atmosphere downstairs with a comedy venue upstairs this is the perfect fun night out. Eat, drink and be entertained!
