It is joy of play that draws Brenna to improvisation and she loves helping others rediscover that joy for themselves.
Beginning her improvisation career performing Murder on Puffing Billy, an improvised murder mystery set on the moving Puffing Billy train, Brenna is now a member of the Impro Melbourne Ensemble. She performs regularly in their seasons of work, including Theatresports™, Maestro™ Impro, Gorilla Theatre™ and Grand Theft Impro. She has recently been co-director of Smells Like a Song, an improvised musical, for the company. She is also a regular performer with Soothplayers - Completely Improvised Shakespeare.
Brenna is currently completing a Bachelor of Performing Arts at Monash University, where she has begun developing her workshops for the casts of scripted shows, aiming to help performers create a space of 'judgement-free' play and creativity.
