Take your improvised singing skills to the next level in this completely improvised one-act musical!
After getting a title from the audience, the improvisers will leap into a never before seen musical story. Students will spend the first few weeks of the course learning and practising the format, and the later weeks performing the format to the public. Each performance will be followed by a session of feedback and reflection.
This workshop will focus on building narrative skills, discovering whose story it is and developing a toolbelt of song structures. Receive feedback after each show and get the chance to apply it in the next one!
Prerequisites: Impro Melbourne's Spontaneity, Narrative Technique, Character and Scene Work courses, Format and Styles or similar training at the discretion of the Artistic Director or course instructor.
