Impro Gym Online

Ensemble-based Making

Looking to make something cool with others? Jump into a brand new conservatory-level course that does just that! Over eight weeks, we’ll invent, develop, refine, rehearse and perform a new improvised show as an ensemble. We’ll look at show concepts, format structures, feedback, cast design, among other crucial elements in collaborating on a show. The show we make will be designed to be performed online, but the skills, principles and tools we use can be applied in any performance context.

Prerequisites: Impro Melbourne’s completion of our core courses (SpontaneityNarrative TechniqueCharacter or Intro to Impo, Storytelling & Character online ), or equivalent improvisation and acting experience as determined by the Artistic Director.

Age requirement: 18 and over. Please see our Impro in Schools programs for anyone under 18.
