In this 4 week course, they will learn the basics of improvisation through engaging games and exercises that call on spontaneity, collaboration, and creativity. In a safe and inclusive environment.

Focusing on

  • Being present in the moment
  • Accepting ideas - saying yes
  • Idea generation
  • Supportive play and collaboration
  • Silencing the internal critic
  • Improving communication skills
  • Active listening

These skills can then be taken into acting, public speaking, general communication, and more.

Ages 14 - 18 years

"I love sharing improvisation with young people. Improvisation develops students' confidence, resilience, decision-making, resourcefulness, team-work and listening skills. It can help to reduce anxiety and fear of judgement. It challenges us to embrace and celebrate mistakes, to be bold and to support each other. All you need is yourself and your fellow improvisers." - Brenna Dixon

Class size is limited to 10 students.
