Make Your 1st Impro Show

with Jim Fishwick
In this one-off class, make the leap from improvising in other people's shows to inventing and developing a show of your own!

You'll explore ways of finding inspiration, and be guided through the process of turning that into a whole show. You'll come away with a sapling of a show idea, ready for you to grow into a mighty tree.

This course is aimed at people with some familiarity with improvisation techniques and little to no experience making shows, but is open to all experience levels.

Testimonials:
“I took this class based on my appreciation for Jim Fishwick’s formats and thoughtful approach to improv. Jim is a great and supportive teacher, with considered and helpful feedback and clear and practical ideas. [...] This course was both practical and interesting and will stay with me for a long time and certainly help in my work as an improviser, director and producer of shows. Thanks Jim!”
Jim’s class not only taught me the theories of theatre production – turning ideas into performances, using your audience, stagecraft – but it gave me the tools to begin my own production, the courage to keep going, and the wisdom to change what needed changing. Thanks, Jim!”
