Block Busters

with Katherine Weaver

“Katherine Weaver has the eye and the mind to approach anyone and not only give great feedback, but also make everyone feel safe.” - Festival Participant, New Zealand Improv Festival

Improvisers want to tell stories or do we?

New and old improvisers alike block each other and ideas during scenes.  In this workshop we will look at the subtle and not so subtle ways in which we do this.

Learning instead to push ourselves into the unknown, break habits and create new stories and scenes.

Unleash your abilty to say yes to the unknown, yes to the story, yes to the audience and yes to yourself!

Class size is limited to 8 people.

Prerequisites: Impro Melbourne’s Spontaneity and Narrative Technique or equivalent impro experience as determined by the Artistic Director.
