Narrative Technique

with Amy Moule

“…narrative class was excellent, as usual. I had a great time.” —Naomi

Continue your playful exploration of improvisation as we work on the basics of creating stories. Building on the foundational skills you acquired in Spontaneity, Narrative Technique teaches you an essential set of skills. In improvisation, these are the fundamental elements that make scenes and games work, and include techniques such as recognising all offers, supporting and building on ideas, making strong choices, bravely initiating scenes and quieting the internal critic by getting out of your own way.

Prerequisites: Impro Melbourne’s Spontaneity course or equivalent impro experience as determined by the Artistic Director.

Questions? Contact our workshop co-ordinator Katherine.

Age requirement: 18 and over. Please see our Impro in Schools programs for anyone under 18.
