Pastiche

A delightful degustation of improvised invention

Chekhovian characters filled with longing; a non-naturalistic physical impulse sparks a relationship; the Poe-etic Society share their dark stories; a character driven Solo Performance; and narratives built on the concept of Trilogy ... welcome to PASTICHE, where theatre and improvisation meet.

PASTICHE is a celebration of different styles, genres and theatrical techniques. Large scale and small works, created by our Impro Melbourne Ensemble, bring improvisation and performance skill together in a wild mosaic of theatrical invention.

Each night brings a different patchwork of pieces. Artists challenging new approaches and theatrical stylings in creating unique improvisation
works. Featuring Timothy Redmond, Katherine Weaver, Jenny Lovell, Brenna Dixon, Charlotte Salusinszky, Amy Moule, Rhys Auteri, Jessica Luu, Christian Nackovski, and Simon Oats.

THREE NIGHTS ONLY. Don’t miss out on this marvellous miscellany of improvised theatre.

“Vibrant and suspenseful because it is a moment-by-moment experience and the actors are totally responsive to each another and their audience. That, in itself, is a recipe for total theatre engagement.” – Weekend Notes
