“When a show is without a script and different at every performance, how can you be sure of a hit? Well, if the promotional phrase is “anything can happen…and probably will!” is employed, it’s usually not a good sign. On the other hand, when the improvisers are professionals such as Patti Stiles, Jason Geary, Sarah Kinsella, Russell Fletcher and friends, you can be confident of a top-shelf comedy. Late Nite Impro is the perfect nightcap to an evening at the festival. The format is fast and loose and will feature special local and international guests. I can’t say much more about the show, because it changes from night to night, but do I think it will prove to be a festival highlight once again? It probably will.”
