These exciting improvisation workshops inspire and educate students in the core principals of spontaneous improvisation through performing Theatresports™ games in a fun and stimulating environment. We develop the true spirit of improvisation, which is teamwork, communication, trust, respect for others' ideas, and dealing light-heartedly with failure. We also work on enhancing skills, improving game performance, introducing new games and scene development. Our highly participatory workshops are invaluable as a first introduction to improvisation or as a way of challenging and advancing the improvisation work already being explored in the classroom.
Impro Melbourne is internationally regarded for its improvisation expertise. Our instructors teach at various local arts institutions and internationally across Europe, Asia and North America. We bring a wealth of experience and passion to the classroom.
