Primary Workshops

“Fantastic! The students were highly engaged and motivated.”

—Berwick Primary

Improvisation is a great way to develop self-confidence and explore the imagination. Through creative play, active participation and lots of laughter students are introduced to the principals of spontaneous improvisation, which are teamwork, cooperation, trust, respect for others' ideas, and dealing light-heartedly with failure.

Impro Melbourne’s teachers are passionate, highly experienced professional actors who love inspiring creativity in students. Our instructors teach at various arts institutions, including the VCA, St Martin’s, National Theatre, NICA and Malthouse Theatre. Internationally, they have performed and taught across Europe, Asia and North America in such institutions as the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts and the Central School of Speech and Drama.
