The internationally regarded Impro Melbourne Company presents Impro Zone, inspired by the skills and games of Theatresports™. This immensely popular and high-energy show is a hit with students and teachers alike. The performance starts with an active skills demonstration introducing students to the valuable concepts of improvisation: teamwork, communication, trust and respect for others' ideas. This definition of basic improvisation terminology, gives both teachers and students a shared language from which to continue their own improvisation work. The demonstration then comes to life in a performance where students can see these principals in action.
As the license holder of Theatresports™, Impro Melbourne is the only group authorized to perform and teach the format in Victoria. Our highly skilled performers have extensive experience and deliver a show of outstanding quality. Impro Melbourne's regional tours always fill quickly, so book early. Metropolitan schools can book throughout the year.
