	* I Heart Huckabees - I love everything about this film from the characters to the script and the story.
	* Back to the Future Trilogy - Still stands as a great adventure series, not just for nostalgic value, but for realsies.
	* Little Children - This was the first film I thought was 'perfect'.
	* We Live in Public (amazing doco I got to see in the cinema, but got weirdly ill during the screening and spent 20min crying in the foyer next to (who tu…</summary>

Films

Dancer in the Dark Saw this at the Astor and completely lost my shit. Cried for most of the film - tears of complete joy and utter despair. I think the planets aligned that day and as such I'll never watch this film again for fear of it not holding up.</summary>

Here's a place to list a few of your favourite things. Films, books, characters, stories, plays, pieces of music....whatever lights you up.

And also, importantly, a bit about the 'why'.

Are there particular themes maybe? Something lined up with that moment in your life? You just like giant robots....</summary>

Films

	* JAWS - It opened up the magic of story, cinema and communal ritual all in one night. It is the template by which all other films are emotionally judged.

It is also a clean, boldly manipulative film that has the confidence to pin its scares to its heart. Shaw and dreyfuss have the fun parts, but it's Roy Scheider who grounds the dazzle with a performance so commonly good he doesn't appear to be acting.</summary>

Films

	* Star Wars (The Original Trilogy) - Far and away the thing I most remember loving first. Most people wanted to be or kiss Han Solo. I loved Luke. More to the point, I wanted to 'be' Luke. Magic, destiny, quest, insurmountable odds; good stuff. (Return of the Jedi was my favourite of the three)</summary>
