Simon Dowling
Simon has been improvising since his days in the early ‘90s as a slightly panicked student of drama and theatre studies at Monash University. “I ran around the stage pointing and screaming,” he recalls with fondness. “Luckily for the audience, I lost my voice if that went on too long.” Simon has been a regular performer with Impro Melbourne since 1995, appearing in a wide range of shows and venues. He is also a member of the ensemble cast on Working Dog’s television hit, Thank God You’re Here. Simon’s stage credits include leading roles in a number of plays including Amadeus, Away, The Tempest, West Side Story and Born Yesterday.
